The Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity ReStore has officially opened its doors! This morning we had the pleasure of participating in the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for their new location on Lima Road. The new 26,000 square foot facility is twice the size of their previous location on Wells Street. We are so proud to be part of this project to not only serve the community itself, but also the families in need of affordable housing.

What’s the latest downtown Fort Wayne news? Yesterday we had the pleasure of announcing that First Merchants Bank will be occupying the entire second floor of the new Skyline Tower with their regional headquarters. Scheduled to open this summer, along with Ruth’s Chris Steak House and 124 new apartments upstairs, this exciting development is just another addition to the downtown momentum in the heart of our city.
On June 20, 2017, the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony for their new ReStore facility. Construction of the 26,320sf facility will begin in July and will be completed in December 2017.


The Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA held their ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 2, 2017. The new YMCA will open for business at 5 AM on Monday, June 5, 2017.



In September of 2015, Weigand Construction and DOMO Development broke ground on CityScape Flats apartment community in downtown Fort Wayne. Thursday, May 4, 2017 marked the official ribbon cutting of the 163-unit complex.


The afternoon of October 27, marked the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Skyline Tower project in downtown Fort Wayne, IN. The mixed-use development, led by Great Lakes Capital, will feature apartments, and office and retail space.



The World Baseball Academy turned the dirt for the largest youth baseball construction project in Fort Wayne history. The project includes (3) new youth baseball fields, featuring artificial surface infields and quality lighting. Two of the fields will be sized for young players through high school and 1 sized for up to college play.
