Just like companies are built by the people within them, people are shaped by the places where they reside. We’ve made it our mission to impact the communities where we live and work for the better. This begins at the individual level, with our staff investing time and resources in organizations dedicated to fostering and nurturing our communities, extending to the corporate level from there.
Weigand staff members are encouraged to make volunteer service a priority and each employee is given two full days of paid time off per year to volunteer for a 501(c)(3) of their choice.

As a company, Weigand Construction also sponsors a full day of service to help our local communities. Employees help with manual labor, cleaning, painting and building structures on these company-wide service days.

Weigand Duck Race to Benefit SCAN
Weigand has an established tradition of enthusiastic support for SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect), whose mission is to eliminate the abuse and neglect of children in northeast Indiana through family services, education, and organizational partnerships. Participants sponsor thousands of ducks that “race” down the St. Mary’s River to raise awareness and promote community involvement.
