Due to the growth of enrollment, Goshen High School was running out of space and chose Weigand Construction for their immediate needs through the Public CMc delivery method. Working with Barton Coe Vilamaa throughout the design process, our team was able to successfully deliver a 3 story, 30,000 square foot addition, as well as about 20,000 square feet of renovations to the existing building.
This addition and renovation project included adding 8 new classrooms, an addition of an advanced manufacturing lab, upgrading the art classrooms and science areas. It also included adding a new stairwell to alleviate the crowded hallways in what was previously the biggest bottleneck when walking the hallways from one side of the building to the other. Extensive upgrades were also made throughout the building, including the expanded media center.
