Concord Community Schools | Ox Bow Elementary Renovation

One of several projects slated in Concord's facility improvement plan for the entire district, Concord Ox Bow Elementary School underwent a wide range of renovations, helping to bring the campus up to date for future needs. Working as the construction manager for this job, Weigand teamed up with TMP Architecture to deliver a comprehensively upgraded building, designed to serve students and Concord educators far into the future.

Transforming the Space

Improvements came in many forms including entry points with enhanced safety and security, a completely renovated administrative wing, and a refreshed media center. Classrooms also received a number of upgraded components, featuring:

The gymnasium facelift included removal of the ceiling, new bleachers, sports equipment, and replaced lighting. Finally, core elements of the exterior and interior were also addressed with improvements such as:
