Jade joined Weigand Construction in 2001 as a Carpenter Foreman. During his tenure, Jade has been promoted to Project Superintendent and has been involved with projects such as Vera Bradley Design Center and Distribution Center, the building envelope for Parkview Regional Medical Center, Metal Technologies, and Phase 1 of the Ball State University Recreation & Wellness Center. In his current role as Director of Field Operations, Jade is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating manpower for all Weigand Construction projects. At any given time, Weigand has an average of 400 employees at job sites throughout the states of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. He is also certified in First Aid/CPR, 30-Hour OSHA, and is ASHE certified.
Jade also plays an important role in our field apprentice program, representing Weigand Construction at trade shows, recruiting events and working with local trade schools to give hands-on experience and guidance to aspiring young tradespeople. As a result of his recent recruiting efforts, WCI was nominated for Employer of the Year in 2020 by Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s internship-matching program, Indiana INTERNnet.
Outside the office
In his free time, Jade enjoys coaching baseball and spending time with family and friends. His hobbies also include hunting/fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding and cycling.
