Our program is managed by a full-time, degreed safety director who helps field supervisors implement the safety program. The safety director audits safety performance, manages training programs, and provides solutions for safety issues at job sites. Our employee safety training includes formal classroom training and weekly safety training in which the entire workforce participates.
Weigand's Safety Committee shares accident and near-miss reports, as well as suggestions sent in by all members of our workforce. Circulating this information serves to prevent recurrence of incidents and drives the continuous improvement of our safety performance.
