Bio

Greg was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. His previous position as regional safety manager required Greg to move across the county managing projects ranging from a 1 billion dollar automotive plant in Oklahoma to high risk refinery work in St. Louis.
Greg joined Weigand construction on November 21, 2003, as Corporate Safety Director overseeing and managing all safety operations. Greg has 22 years of experience in the field of safety including risk management, infectious control and program development, among others.
He has designed, developed and implemented strategies, policies, programs and processes in occupational health and safety. Through his collective approach and support from the executive level, he demonstrates the benefits of teamwork and the value a national level program offers to a company.
Greg developed an interest in the field of safety while working in construction as a laborer supporting his college education. Greg received his degree in Safety Engineering from Indiana State University with a minor in insurance risk.
Greg enjoys taking road trips and attending football games with his wife Wendy, gardening and playing with his two girls Adriana and Marisa.
